Full-time RVing - Seattle Post Intelligencer Posted: 25 Sep 2009 06:27 AM PDT Yesterday I picked up Ned Bedinger and his 19 year old son, Miles, at the Stockton, CA Amtrak Train Station. They elected to take the train from the State of Washington rather than fly. They made the trip in order to consummate an agreement to purchase I negotiated with Ned and his wife Jane on September 1st who didn't make this trip because she had to work. It was an interesting coincidence that it occurred on that date because it was on September 1, 1999, ten years ago to the day, that I bought the not-then famous motorhome. Anyways, after a 1.5 hour drive to Mary's home in Murphys , CA we arrived at the present location of the famous motorhome. Ned re-inspected the motorhome which he originally viewed for one hour in late August when I was in Lacey, WA. As part of the inspection process I gave Ned a "walk-through" tour explaining how everything works and the little nuances of the famous motorhome. Even though Ned owns another RV, they're all different. After that function was accomplished, we completed the paperwork associated with the sale. Ned and Miles spent the night in their new motorhome in Mary's yard. We had pre-arranged to have breakfast at 7:00 AM and Miles voulnteered to cook the omelets. He did a commendable job. They departed this morning at 8:00 AM for their home in Washington. Ned indicated he was proud to be the new owner of the famous motorhome and promised he would take good care of it. If you live in Washington and happen to see the famous motorhome going down the road. Toot your horn and say hello to Ned, Jane and Miles!
